General holidays; Taste of France?

12-Day camping holiday in mainly two regions; Languedoc-Rouissilon (Herault, Aude and Pyrenees-Orientales) and/or Midi-Pyrenees (Ariege, Haute Garonne and Haute Pyrenees)
A guaranteed good weather holiday!
Mixed bag holiday; Mountains and hills, sea and rivers, Romanesque churches and Cathar Castles.
Activities; walking, swimming, canoeing, walking with donkeys or nothing at all!.
Campsites; small and peaceful campsites in beautiful settings.
Meals; Self-catering (me and one other person) and meals out.
Picnics; Mostly with chairs and tables provided (French style)

These holidays can also be provided with some nights in a comfortable gite d’etape or in unguarded refuge (very basic) in case we want to spend a night in the mountains.
(For the adventurous)
These holidays can also be provided with a gite as accommodation, either for a week or two weeks. (For the less adventurous)
These holidays need one member of staff and can have max 8 participants

Theme holidays;

A) Cathar holidays;
1) 12-day Camping holiday or in Gites (7 or 14 days) centred around
a) Ariege (Montesegur, Roquefixade, Foix and Montaillou) and/or
b) South Aude (Puivert, Queribus, Peyerpertuse and Puilaurens) and/or
c) North Aude (Argues, Carcassonne, Lastour and Minerve)
These holidays need one member of staff and can have max 8 participants.
2) 7-day walking holiday (Sentier Cathare) 6 days walking
1 st part; Foix - Bugerach
3) 7-day walking holiday (Sentier Cathare) 6 days walking
2 nd part Bugerach – Port la Nouvelle
4) 7-day walking holiday (Gr 107 Chemin des Bonshommes) 6 days walking
1st part; from Foix (France) to Spanish border
5) 9-day walking holiday (Gr 107 Chemin des Bonshommes) 8 days walking
2nd part; from Spanish border to Berga (Spain)
These holidays need preferably two members of staff, one for walking, one for transporting luggage and setting up camp. Max 7 participants
Accomodation; Camping and /or gite ‘d’etape.
Please note; The 1 st part and the 2nd part of the walking holidays (2-5) could be done together in 8 days by experienced walkers, but I think for the general public, who want to enjoy themselves this is asking too much.
B) Romanesque churches trail; 5 days in Pyrenees-Orientales (Fr) and 5 days in Catalonia (Sp) I expect people who are interested in this would be more happy in a small hotel or chamber d’hotes as accommodation.Also in the Ariege are many Romanesque churches.
